The hall is expected to be ready for the first customers to be serviced during the month of September. Rapidly increasing demand for indoor facilities for the ever-larger ships in Northern European waters is driving investment in the facilities. [vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text] A new maritime project has been launched between 5 partners to prepare hydrogen fuel cells for use onboard ferries in a hybrid combination with batteries. The project is funded by the Danish funding program EUDP (Energiteknologisk Udviklings- og Demonstrationsprogram). A new project funded by EUDP with five partners is preparing hydrogen fuel cells to be demonstrated onboard the Replacement Ferry, which is developed by OMT on behalf of the Ferry Secretariat.
